WetlandCare Australia Merges With Conservation Volunteers Australia
WetlandCare Australia is pleased to announce that we have merged with Conservation Volunteers Australia, providing new opportunities for our two organisations to conserve, restore and protect wetlands, catchments and coasts across Australia, while inspiring people to take action.
Our combined resources and capabilities enable us to tackle projects across the country of national scale and significance including:
- Catchment restoration to improve water quality along the Great Barrier Reef;
- Planning and restoration of wetlands of international significance;
- Wetlands, Catchments and Coasts conservation initiatives and Threatened species.
Ian Walker, Director of Conservation, Conservation Volunteers Australia and WetlandCare Australia, welcomes the merger in an open letter which you can read below.
If you have any questions about the merger, please contact our Ballina office ballina@wetlandcare.com.au
